Earthquake Damage Certification for Adjusters

Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute has teamed with the California Earthquake Authority and Exponent Engineering to present an all-encompassing course geared for the Insurance Adjuster. Each student will learn the basics of Earthquake Damage Assessment including, but not limited to, damage identification, use of engineer reports, proper inspection procedures, and construction or application defects. Participants will also acquire knowledge of earthquake origins, measurement techniques, policies, and coverages.

You will learn the following:

  • California Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations
  • Determination of Scope of Loss
  • Loss and Damage Estimation Techniques
  • Use of Engineer and Expert Reports
  • CDI Earthquake Mediation Program
  • Assessment of Damage to Concrete
  • Earthquake Assistance


This 1-day course is offered once a year by Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute.
